Dragon Age Arise

I adore Dragon Age. I had so much fun, I am so in love with Zevran and Alistair and I cried a little at the end my first time around, moreso because I had to let him sleep with Morrigan and I just couldn't bring myself to ask virgin Alistair... So yeah, I'm on the soft side or whatever.

But now it's time to move on, but as a farewell I wanted to make a video as I always do, when I finish with something I really, really like. Everytime I played the game I was suprised that I still got new options, so, so many. I laughed, I screamed and I yelled, I cursed, I cried and I was a true pain in the ass for my friends and colleagues. Over and over again I was asking myself what I had gotten myself into again the first time I played the game... and, argh... big, big love.

And worst of, I really got into my character. It was scary, how much I HATED Howe, when I was playing the human noble or how much I hated Duncan when playing the Dalish elve... (but that was because I choose to not want to become a Warden and Duncan forced me! Oh, but I loved him so much as a dwarf commoner... oh... well...)

I had seven characters, all around. I finished the game with, lemme see, four, played Awakening with two and actually got every achievement except for Heavy Hitter. Yes, you got it, I lack private life. ~.~

Waiting for Dragon Age II in 2011!

Just a little warning: my favorite male character was in a relationship with Zevran, whereas my favorite female character had one with Alistair. As this is an omage for Dragon Age, it's as well for my Alim and Zevran, so beware men kissing and more (for just a few seconds!). ^.~

And I like the game as much as you <3 Alistair isn't whiney :( He is epic. One of the best video game charakters ever. I'm waiting for Dragon Age II. The story of DA:O is soooooo great. And every character is something special. I hope in DA2 it's the same. Arg...I can't get over it, that someone don't like Alistair. He have a big heart, is very funny and is a great tank. And these people who don't like him often thinks that Loghain and Howe are nice guys. I mean...c'mon!

@soulfirebeyonddeath I'm always glad to find ppl who share my love for DA:O. I could go on and on.and on just talking about what happens when you do that and what had happened in the past of my fav characters and, oh god... I'm going to start rambling again pretty soon. Must. Endure. So, anyway, I actually started again to play DA, after finishing ME1&2 three & five times...And I still get new options, thats just crazy, on Biowares side I mean. Everytime I think I have it all, I'm proved wrong.

this video was really good. i did not think anything could top the game's musical score for the battle but you did. i also like how you mixed various wardens into the sequence. and the final battle intermixed with past scenes was creative. it was almost like the warden was remembering all the moments that brought him to that point of killing the arch-demon.

thanks for creating a great video for an awesome game. I am currently on my 7th DAO playthrough. it never gets old.

@Mokurable Ich weiß ganz genau was du meinst *-* Momentan spiele ich mit meinem 7. Charakter und habe es immernoch nicht geschafft das Spiel "böse" durchzuspielen. Besonders bei dem Spiel fällt es mir schwer etwas böses zu tun. Es ist unglaublich wie man sich in diesem Spiel in die Leute hineinversetzen kann. Am liebsten bin ich im Lager und höre einfach nur meinen Gruppenmitgliedern zu. Mich wurmt es, dass ich noch nicht alle Kodex-Einträge gefunden habe ):
