  • ok the whole "hipster" thing has really gone too far. it's like anything that's weird, which i suspect no one is questioning that this is, or anything that doesn't fit into your definition of "art" can now just be dismissed as hipster trash. yes, he is singing with a ridiculous vibrato and waving his hands like a crazy person. deal with it. counterculture existed before v-necks and big sunglasses and it will keep on existing whether or not you think about music like a fucking child. grow up.

  • Devendra you are the man.

  • He sounded like Chris Crocker when he sang.

  • This is true art. Some people are just too ignorant to see it.

  • alguien me puede decir en que año fue este video?

  • Anthony and the Johnsons anybody ???

  • @homiedude333 or maybe he just liked elizabeth and figured hey i would love to do a cover, and was like hey why don't i do it in the same style as her, as some form of tribute, or maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyybeeeeeeee just maybe he enjoys doing it and doesnt give a shit what close minded music snobs like you think, its music mate, not everything is everyones cup of tea, but just cause you can string together a sentence in your smart manner, doesn't mean you can say he's shit, cause he's not.

  • @djazr well put :)

  • @homiedude333 He just has such a beautiful voice and this sort of aura to him that's unexplainable. When he sings in spanish it makes me want to cry and his lyrics in english are so well thought out and expressive. THAT is why people like Devendra

  • The vibrato and the crazy hand movements are part of his CHARM.

  • @ifijihadalife if he's great than explain why, I'm interested to see why people like him. If I wanted to lash out at my ex I would go on some Beatles videos and complain about how she doesn't like them ;)
