Amazing.... Just amazing.... Im a really good drummer and this took me a whole week to learn just the OPENING beat @ 2 to 3 hours a day. These guys are simply amazing.

@boomtnt1 if you were a really good drummer you wouldn't have said that you are a really good drummer, and would have got it first try. it's not that hard. check out the end of change or some of the fills in new day. that really shows the chops of Steve Judd

C'mon people. Shut up about them being influenced by Tool. I mean Tool is influenced by King Crimson, but do you say that on Tool videos or songs? Grow up and realize that all of the music you listen to was at sometime influeneced by another artist. Art in general has been this way since the beginning of time you jackasses. Be glad it's still around and that there are still good artists like this.

@HammerNHook actually, umbra refers to the darkest part of a shadow, penumbra and antumbra refer to different parts of a shadow, and yes, all three are used in eclipse terminology.

Lol. You definitely have a point. I like the drums in Cote, the way they seemingly transition in the main verses. Also Boomtnt should check out Set Fire to the Hive. The sticking in that is pretty intense :)

@boomtnt1 The point is when you write a song you play what sounds right. Copying a complex drum beat like this is much harder than writing it yourself. I doubt the drum beat is exactly the same each time he plays it. The 3-note guitar riff at the start and end of this song is far better than any drum beat - genius. Just a shame it doesn't feature more often in the rest of the song - i can't help feeling there's tons of missed potential in this track.
