@mfox621773 i would encourage you to read some material on profiling for serial killers. in robert ressler's book "whoever fights monsters." the things people say that "trigger" a serial killer's actions can apply to a lot of people who aren't moved to kill, yes, there is no doubt that other people have similar experiences. but read some books about FBI profilers and it will make more sense. it only seems like cop outs and overanalysis because of how documentaries seem to make it a special case

@mfox621773 i agree with you. I have been abused beyond belief and have experienced some horrible and unspeakable things. But non of that has changed who I am. Not even one bit. My personality is the same. Yeah sometimes I like acting like a different person, but thats acting,not real. I am not abusive in any way and am discusted by people who are. I would never inflict the pain ive felt onto others, because i know best of how horrible that feels. I think these people are born crazy

It really amazes me how far they go in to the cause of Dahmer's actions. How many peoples' parents have arguements? How many people have dreams of murder? How many people come from unstable backgrounds??? BULLSHIT!!!!! Absolute cop out and over analysis. People like this are born this way, It's obviously a genetic, mental problem or chemical imbalance. You are who you are. It is what it is.
