Prof.Yanev is one of the most famous contemporary Bulgarian conductors,pedagogues and social figures.
He has conducted over 2000 concerts in Bulgaria,Russia,France,Holland,Italy,Spain,Greece,Japan,Macedonia etc.His orchestras are laureates of eight grand,special and first prizes from prestigious competitions in all over the world.
He has led a number of master Conducting classes in Bulgaria and abroad.
Prof.Yanev's pedagogical activity was developed in the National School of Music"Lyivomir Pipkov",the State Academy of Music"Pancho Vladigerov"and Academy for Music-and-Dance Arts in Plovdiv,where he achieved some quite serious results in the "Orchestral Playing"and "Choir and Orchestral Conducting".
Prof.Lilia Gjuleva(05.01.1933-07.26.2003) was a choir conductor,one of the most renowned Bulgarian conductors .There is widespread agreement that Lilia Gjuleva had a special gift for extracting beautiful sounds from a choir.
She conducted the Christina Morfova Choir for forty-five years and was the recipient of many prestigious awards in Llangollen(UK),Middlesbrough(UK),Tolosa(Spain),Leipzig(Germany),Gorizia(Italy) and Bulgaria.
She has led various unforgettable concert tours in Japan,Europe,America and Israel.
