My grandparents lived at 13143 Richards Dr. and were watching TV when a 2x6 came through the dining room window and lodged in the ceiling above where my grandmother was sitting. When they tried to get to the basement, debris was already coming through the front door. I was 3 years old at the time, however I still remember my grandfather showing us the 2x6 as well as all of the foundations with the houses gone. Much of this footage was shot right near their house.

I was a year old when this hit my mom and dad said it took out all the windows in there house they lived at 13505 yeager drive in strongsville, there was always lot's of funnel clouds going over my mom and dads house in the spring, we moved when I was 9 years old, I don't miss the tornado scares at all but strongsville was a very nice place to live.

I was a senior at Strongsville High and it wiped out a few houses just south of my house on Prospect on its way to St. Joseph Church on Pearl. It just missed the old Strongsville airport and the planes that were there. The noise as it passed was unbelieveable!
