saw grinderman at electric picnic last week. was brilliant ! lots of people left because they thought it was the bad seeds. but jesus, nick and warren tore it up. it sounded messy, and loud and in your face. would love to see them again.

One of them was a violin, the mans a legend. the set list was cool, but no mercy seat ! i liked stagger lee, the ghost of blixa at the end screaming his head off. brilliant.

what was with warren's tiny guitars? hilarious especially cos there were three of them, and a tiny bass.

i thought the setlist was all over the place, loved all the songs, dont get me wrong, but i dunno a lot of moving about between hard and soft songs. Hahaha yeah thats definitely Shanes favourite line!

Good mixture, most of the songs from Dig Lazarus
Some of the vigorous older songs such as Tupelo, Hard on for Love, Papa won't leave you Henry, .... some Piano Ballads e.g. Into my arms, Ship Song and Shane McGowan trying to get the lyrics of Lucy straight. He obiously loves the line 'Now the bell-tower is ringing'
