I'm going to throw in my input into the last comment and say, It really doesnt matter in my opinion what someone wear's or how they where it, It's how much fun you have doing what you love to do (and for me that's listing to music and fucking shit up) and some acid... yeah can't forget that

i never said it wasnt about the attitude...thats the most importaint thing...i didnt leave that comment to start and arguement with somone, i was justifying a bullshit term that is used to discriminate my fellow punk rockers...i wasnt talking about bands like the circle jerks, i was talking about bands like total chaos, the casualties, funeral dress, the virus, cheap sex, etc.

Chaospunk is right.. Just because you spike your hair and wear boots doesn't mean that you're a "fashion punk" punk isn't all about the fashion, but it is a part of punk. Go to any street punk show and you will see that. Theres nothing wrong with it, its just showing off the DIY ethic that most punks have ... Painted jackets, vests, dyed hair, etc... So who cares if a band gets decked out
