On behalf of small aircraft pilots all over the country, I apologize for his behaviour. Every pilot I know that is aware of this issue agrees that there was no excuse for what he did. Had he remained at least 500ft offshore, he would've been legal. As it was, it was a total bust.

Just yet another nutcase "having fun" on Crystal Beach at the expense of others. Hallie tourists getting tanked up and stupid on our beach. We were there that day (every day, we live here), didn't see the plane but saw all you folks in jeeps later that day all parked in a huge group. Ya'll seemed cool. Most folks are friendly and cool, some people take their beach fun a bit too far. Or WAY too far, like this guy.

Wrong plane, this plane was down in Texas, flying over Galveston. The plane you are thinking about happened in South Carolina

As a Certified Flight Instructor, aircraft owner, and pilot of almost a decade-- this is truly embarrassing for the pilot community. Most of us are professionals and uphold the highest standards of safety.
This pathetic excuse for a pilot will be torn to tiny pieces by the FAA, if it hasn't been done already. They will have no mercy, and take this kind of crap as seriously as it can be.

Guys you know a plane crashed and killed a man on a beach? This is probably the one... the plane was leaking oil and later propeller flew of. This is the plane that killed a guy after it crashed, he wasnt flying low on purpose he was crashing.

This plane was not crashing. This was his 10th pass coming at us. He was jacking with us the whole time. And the news showed a picture of the same plane after this incident.
