  • the cbc does a documentary about coal bed mining it's called burning water it's on their website the program is called the passionate eye look it up

  • @smalltownskgirl PS: I met Corb @ the Easter-weekend gun-show in Calgary. Great guy.

  • @smalltownskgirl This song isnt' about H2S (sour-gas), It's about CBM(coal-bed methane). I work in the oil-patch and refuse to do CBM work - it Fu*ks up water wells and ruins aquifers - My family has been ranching in Alberta for 100+ years & I'll be damed before I screw-up their water-wells.

  • very good. exactly what is happening to us in the Darling Downs, QLD with coal seam gas

  • This song is amazing, but so very sad.

I watched "W5" on TV this summer.. It was all about sour gas and methane poisoning and killing people and animals in Alberta. A sour gas pipe explosion a few kms from his house actually left a man confined to a wheel chair and on oxygen (ruined his central nervous system) and killed dozens of his calves and heifers and some steers..

It's really too bad that they're ruining one of the most beautiful parts of Canada (in my opinion)

  • Amazing song! I just saw him live with the Hurtin Albertans they were awesome, highly recommended!

  • Nice. Especially now that I know what it is about, since listening to "Q" on CBC. (It's about the threat of coalbed methane development ruining the family farm in Southern Alberta) I doubt that coalbed methane extraction is economical at current natural gas prices, so maybe that will help farmers at least for awhile.

  • Well, I get to be the first comment! Yay!
