RESPECT - LAMP MOVIE 08

Most experiences with schools are painful, especially if nobody understands what you identify as. school isn't known to be the most open and peaceful environment. but why is that, why can't it be?
Detroit Summer's Live Arts Media Project is a youth organization/ community with a mission to spread youth voices problems that affect them. and in 2008, youth produced three videos focusing on the major issues we see students facing in schools that might lead them to drop out.
This video deals with the issues of respect in school raising the questions, How do you get respect in school? Why is school disrespectful? How do we create a respectful environment in schools? How can peers support each others personal issues?
watch as a teen deals with those questions and their own lingering fear.
