what makes you say the trans is pathetic? Have you EVEN driven one of these babies? I have, my boss owns one and I took him to the dentist in it.
Let me tell you the Trans is faaaaaaaar from pathetic, it is really in harmony with driver/engine...it's just perfect!
He chose it over an m6/911T/ran Turismo and he is a car NUT.
If that doesnt say something about jag I dont know what does, even if it is being sold to some sweatshop in india.

This is D-Day pay back time against German Cars. British cars owned by Americans. I just got one last week. Man.... This car is fantastic, unbelievable! I will never want to drive a German car again... its so vibrant and full of character.

yeh i was in the old shape XKR today and it was alot faster than i thought it would be, and ive been in an E63 AMG.
when u floor the XKR it pauses for a split second, as if the engine is saying "do u really want me to show you what full power is like... Ok ????" and then it kicks down and ur offffffffff! great noise aswell
