Christchurch CBD Bus Tour - Red Zone - 5 November 2011

A trip through the heart of the Christchurch CBD. A look at what progress has been made with the demolition of over 1000 buildings and a hint at what's left to go.

Having already been in and seen most of the work going, the most interesting thing about the bus tour for me having was experiencing the reaction of the other people on the bus around me. I'd already gotten over the shock and awe and was mentally prepared.

Personally I think CERA have the right idea with these tours. At the other end people had a sense of where things were going and a better understanding of what's happening to their city.
