Luis Argueta, award winning director of The Silence of Neto, will continue visiting colleges, high schools, faith-based, labor and community centers to present his new documentary abUSed: The Postville Raid, both in its original English version and it's just-completed Spanish version.
The film (97 minutes) weaves together the personal stories of those directly affected by the most brutal, most expensive, and one of largest Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids in the history of the U.S. abUSed: The Postville Raid and presents the human face of immigration, the socioeconomic forces which fuel it, and serves as a cautionary tale against government abuses.
The objective of this tour is to contribute to the national and international dialogue on the crucial issue of immigration and to raise funds for the outreach of the documentary.
