Each month, LAPTOP Magazine upgrades one lucky readers old personal computer with the help of our sponsor, NewEgg.com.
For this months Mobile Makeover, we retooled a business executives aging Dell Inspiron notebook. A frequent business traveler, our subject needed a machine that would operate more than one application at a time with greater efficiency, would last longer on a battery charge, and would fit neatly into his work-anywhere lifestyle. With those requisites in mind, we souped up his device with 4GB of RAM, a new solid state drive, a high-security portable storage drive, and other tech perks to help make working on the road more productive and more fun.
