A 3100 -year -old inscription read by me as close as possible to how it was read then by my ancestors the Phoenicians. I have also added a French and an English translation. This was the first significant Phoenician inscription to be written in the newly invented Phoenician alphabet that was the mother of almost all known alphabets today.(KAI 1)

Phoenician inscription using Hebrew alphabet:
ארן ז פצל אתבצל בן אחרם מלך גבל לאחרם אבה כ שחה בצלם
ואל מלך במלכם וסכנ בסכנם ותמא מחנת צלי גבל ויגל ארנ זן תחתסף חטר משפתה תחתפך כסא מלכה ונחת תברח צל גבל והא ימח ספרה לפף שבל

This is my first video on you tube. I do really apologize for the imperfections. Try to enjoy it nonetheless...

  • As close trading partners and allies of the Venedi, it has become an ignored history of at least American education that the slaughter and methodical elimination of both the Phoenician and Venedi peoples paved way for the horrendous rise of this so-called western civilization that still relies on domination instead of cooperation that had previously marked the strength and beauty of the Phoenician and Venedi cultures. Your English translation of Ahiram's inscription was the best yet. Thanks.

  • It is unfortunate that there is a body of learned men who want to classify the Venedi/Veneti/Eneti as either Celtic, Illyrian, Slavic, Etruscan or any number of ethnic groups when they were not. There were indigenous, established traders and merchants. They were the "boat people" or the "river people". The word 'vened' is not an Indo-European word; there is no latin translation but the word today in Finnish still means boat. The word 'aelf' still means river in Sweden. Venedi = Tolkien's elves.

  • @vened24 by Venedi people you mean Slavs or some other group of peoples ?
