I just heard of this guy. And..its..I'm happy.

@RichardScotti Glad you could make it, Richard. Now you know that it is not the gear, or the amp, or the guitar. It's the person using those tools. You saw him play a $91 guitar through a Blues Junior amp with only a tuner, a tube screamer for slide compression and a flanger (which he never used on the show). You are now a member of the club, congratulations.

What a show! Well worth the trip.

4:20 aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh too much, too much for me I can't handle that

@RichardScotti Quick, call your travel agent. Jack will be playing Nashville, TN. on January 28th at Third and Lindsley Bar and Grill. Show time is 9:30PM and cover is $10. This will be a jazz performance with Hammond and drums. Jack will play originals and standards from the American Jazz Songbook. You ain't seen or heard it swing like this before, unless you're older than 75 and lived in New York in the 50s and 60s.

How can it take me so long to discover this ace picker and singer ? Why does he not get the coverage he deserves?

Just discovered Jack a week ago and each new tune I hear is like finding new treasure. How could this gift stay hidden? Geez Mr. Pearson sir. Put some dates on the calendar and I'll call my travel agent. Can't wait to see/hear a live show.

this guy jams -super smooth!
@jf99151 Well, the VVT amp sounds great. But he's got an old Yamaha 50 watt amp that sounds great. Last night he played through a stock DeLuxe and later a Twin and they sounded great. He could plug into a toaster oven and it would sound great. Sometimes the gear doesn't matter, it's the player.

@rockinredneck57 Jack does have a Sivertone that he uses for some slide work, and yeah, it sounds at least like a million bucks, maybe two. Quote from Jack about his Silvertone "They don't make masonite like this anymore!"
