In this episode, we embark on our first mission to defeat the Eidolon haunting Mist Valley.

I'll periodically provide bestiary updates, for those who are going for 100% completion.

  • You mention how Jump was a DPS loss in the GBA version, does this also apply to the PlaySation version? Or is it actually worth using in that version?

  • @UraharaHatPasta It's works fine in the Playstation version.

  • I like the shattering effects starting a random battle. Reminds me of FFX, or Stone Cold Steve Austin's theme.

  • I wish the old FFIV had auto-attacking for everyone. It would make grinding so much faster....

  • @HCBailly Righteous, thank you.

  • That Boss Shatter is very reminiscent of Xenogears. I like the touch.

  • @joeheine Thanks, it makes sense. But in movies zombies wont stop if you set them on fire, they just keep coming.

  • @12chapin reptiles are weak against cold because they are cold-blooded, so they freeze to death easier. Ever seen a reptile living in the snow? Nope.

Flying creatures can be knocked out of the air by projectiles, just like real life: "kill two birds with one stone" etc. Machines' systems would be overloaded by too much electricity. Undead are traditionally weak against fire because of D&D.

  • Aww...They totally cut out the part where she takes off her dress:(

  • I don't know if anybody has already commented on this but in the euro version the dancer does take her dress away. She has a leotard underneath. You see how her dance ends with her going straight to the left? That's where the dress lands when she throws it away and she's going to retrieve it. She puts it on again as the dance ends.

  • HCBailly, I think, IMSMC, that if you attack Larva with a magic attack they will use osmose, but if you attack and don't eliminate them, they put slow on you.

  • I like the gambit system in Final Fantasy 12, you can set up a gambit to fight a boss, then go to the refrigerator to grab a sandwich or something.
