  • @toolgirl225 Overreaction

  • One of the most beautiful films I have ever seen.

  • This is why Falmer felt familliar. O_O

  • And I quote Weird Al...

Pop Pop, hopes no one sees me get freaky ;]

  • She reaches her nirvana, and even in the course of her short, but tragic, life--she is complete. Which is more than I can say for most of you fools.

  • Each of the tasks she is given correlate to a specific traumatic incident that she has witnessed recently in her life. They are metaphors for her struggle through an existence which she has no control over. At the end, she dies, her brain is flooded w DMT, & she hallucinates reaching the top of the staircase, reuniting w her family, & becoming the princess her mother always used to tell her about in the story at the beginning of the movie...

  • Let me spell it out for you. The girl lives in the midst of the Spanish Civil War. Her step-father is a high-ranking military officer who maintains the facist status quo with vigorous and unflinching brutality. In order to cope with the unthinkable violence she sees, along with seeing her countrymen's struggle for freedom through her child's vision of right and wrong, she develops a highly detailed and wondrously imagined fantasy world in which to escape....

  • Everyone said that this movie--or its female protagonist for that matter--is stupid, has obviously the thematic and emotional depth to only last (barely) through a single episode of Tosh.O without having a massive brain aneurysm. Don't you idiots understand metaphor, storytelling, or plot mechanics in general? I feel really terribly for the abhorrent public school education you undoubtedly received, and that has so epically failed you.

  • Gosh dang it, I was really hopen she'd get eaten. She probably plays the most stupidest, idiotic, brainless freaking character in movie history.

  • She's pretty much a completely moron for eating that grape... As soon as I SAW that thing I would run for the hills.
