Sara Hickman is a singer/songwriter from Austin, Texas. Her big #4 hit was "I Couldn't Help Myself." way back when. This video montage, taken on my lil' Aiptek camera, is a sampler of the show Sara Hickman performed at Gruene Hall in Gruene Texas in May 2006. Lotsa crowd noises! And distorted sound (I was sitting next to a speaker)!

Sara is one of the most gifted guitarist on the planet. But because she's "just a girl" she NEVER gets any props. I may try to post another video of her "Train Song" I took recently... well... the hot and heavy guitar part at least....

Awesome compilation of this multi-talented artist. I've been a fan since Equal Scary People and always lamented that Sara didn't get the boost from Elektra and had to fight for her career, but this video shows she's still passionate and most of all enjoying herself. I hope she makes it out my way someday.
