@SharonAndDaniel Thank you so very much. My family has been ringing handbells for almost 50 years now. Part of our music ministry was to keep in contact with missionaries in the field. One missionary was from Japan who sent us the lyrics and music to Imayo. We've been ringing and singing this hymn ever since. Somewhere along the way the lyrics were lost. Thank you for sending them to me. We will keep you in our prayers.

@missionbells799 Thank you for remembering and praying for Japan!
I added the alphabetical lyrics and translations in this movie's description. Would it help you?
P.S. Japanese has no differences of "L" and "R". Usually we write with "R". But it sounds strange the "R" pronunciation by english speaker for Japanese, I wrote with "L".

@SharonAndDaniel
Hi! I think you are doing a wonderful job, keep up the work. Do you have a version of Imayo with the Japanese pronunciations in phonetic English so that an English speaking person like me can sing the song by looking at the words phonetically. I don't know how else to say it. I know that my family used to ring handbells and sing this hymn in Japanese. Last Sunday, March 13th, we played Imayo in church just instrumentally, in honor of the Japanese people. It was moving.

Help me out please! I would like to sing this on Sunday in memory of those who have lost their lives this week in Japan. Could you help me out with phonetic Japanese words? I have the music.
