I played this song with my band in Spain, the best song I've ever played, so beautiful, epic, precious!

im in symphonic band in high school and we r playing this song for our spring concert in 2 days :D
i absolutely love this song sooo much
u guys did a great job, except it would have been better if it had a faster tempo, although, u still gave it the dramatic effect :D well done

We're playing this in our final concert. This song is so much fun to play, let alone to hear :)) It's too bad you cant hear the flutes and clarinets around the 7 minute mark though, we have a fantastic part there!! :((

my senior year of high school (2008) we played this song in a nationwide competition we were invited to, we played in disney concert hall with 30 other schools that were invited, that year we took home 1st in symphonic band, 1st in concert band, 1st in jazz, took home 2 out of 3 maestro awards (which were awards given to people how had stood out exceptionally, one of which i recieved), and we won best overall. was so incredible.

we played that, intro sounds better faster

Traditionally an irish chant is very slow and majestic but I do think it could have been spead up a little. Amazing tone control from the oboist. My high school symphony band is performing this for MPA and our Spring Concert. We take it a bit faster. This band did amazing.

A little slow, but sounds great!
Just played it for my Winter concert, and i think it's a great piece.

Jeeez that bell sounds awful. Did you not have any tuned sets?
excellent control on the slow passages, intro could have picked up speed a little, overall a good performance
