In the 318ti there si 2 engine types m42 and m43 m42 is e36 318ti 1.8 143 hp i got one and m43 is fitted in e46 318ti and late models e36 318 and its 1.9 check it!

@lotecmopar Hi, Thanks for your comment. However I had checked before posting this ad. The engine model is N42B20A. This engine is a 1995cc DOHC. I tried to put in the link, but YouTube barred it. Try Googleing Car Sensor, the web site is in Japanese, but the info is there. Maybe there was a different engine sold in this car in your part of the world? Not sure, but what I can tell you is, these are the facts on this car. Thanks for your comments.

@lotecmopar No, its a 1995cc engine and is described by the manufacturer as a 2L which are also on the ownership doc's. However, believe what you like.
