I am playing this tomorrow morning at church as an offertory. My ancestors, McIntire came from Scotland. I would love to visit before I leave this life for a better one. Have been to England but did not make it to the north. Thank you posting.

This tune sounds so Scottish. That's no surprise as Jay Ungar said that he wrote it in the style of a Scottish lament.
