Atlanta 96 best of theis batch though not a patch on Barcelona! Nagano studio computer graphics, Sue's hair would freeze off in all that ice (Not a bad thing!!)

@Hoddersrevenge Agreed. Excellent performance from the BBC for 1996 Olympic Granstand, but dismal performance from Great Britain at those Games. Thankfully, after that, the post-Olympic inquiries led to better facilities and funding and thus far better GB performances at Sydney, Athens and Beijing! Hopefully, also, on home ground next year in London!

The tv announcer saying Des Lynam was going to highlight the British prospects for Atlanta made me laugh. Also those Albertville opening titles were a bit basic but they did sum up what was quite a strange winter games from France.

Atlanta 96 was easily the best of these... don't look and sound out of place now... which is weird considering a few months earlier you watch the beeb's Euro 96 titles and they're AWFUL!
