First and foremost, Black Friday is called that because most stores go in to "the red" or negative profit, but on Black Friday, with all the sales, they go back in to the black, the positive. *Sighs*
No, thats the thing. There are black schools, black drumlines(obviously), a freaking day caled Black Friday. Need I go on? But if there were to be a white anything, it kmight as well be punished by God, according to some people. I have nothing against black people, it's just the simple fact. All I have to do is sit back and watch the mayhem erupt.
Yotomak, I'm not going to attack because you may not understand that the reason for the historically black colleges are due to the Jim crow era. Blacks were not allowed to go to white schools at all after slavery, nor were they expected to do so. Jim Crow just ended in the 60's. Most of those schools have been around since the 1800's. Yes, whites are interested in what blacks have to offer now but once upon a time, we weren't invited to "your" pep rallies and so forth, thus black drumlines.
My God! Will you people get off the subject that balck's had a rough time in this country?! Yeah, so what? It was bad, SO WHAT? So many people dwell on the fact that something bad happened to the black race in the past. Christians were slaughtered and totured in Rome, but do we care? No. We travel and tour Rome just the same. So get off of it! Black people have just the same rights, if not more in some cases, than white people do. This drumline has an amazing sound, it's just the simple fact.
Keep the trash talking to a minimum or get out.. This was a high school drumline. No one on this line was over 17 years old.. Remember that next time you judge. Some of you are 18+ and still have yet to make an accomplishment. Like I said before.. Black fire percussion breeds DCI champions.
