@Igman2020 from personal experience my times on a matted track were always more than half a second faster than my times on a dirt track which is why i mentioned the track bit. maybe its just different for me though. btw i'm nowhere near as fast as10.81 so dont even bother asking me my times lol. but on a real the differences were always major. do you have any videos posted?

@Igman2020 i get wat you're saying yo but i thought your issue surrounded 'age' as it relates to 'speed capabilities'. because you asked how was 19yr blake running so much faster than 27yr old juiced bob. thats y mentioned the whole 'ahead of thier time bit or they could very well be unatural' n then made the comparison to other sports. i was just maintaining the 'age vs ability' point. if thats what you really meant in your first comment 0_0.

@Igman2020 ok i'm not expert just an opionion lol. but what would you say about bob hayes then? i mean thats over 40 years ago n he was running 10's on a dirt track with crappy ass spikes. bolt was just 21 when he demolished the olympics. put it this way they may either be unatural....or....they're just ahead of their time. just like a pele was to football or a schumacher was to formula one; just youngsters who have remarkable abilities.

@Igman2020 OH ONE MORE THING...Just look up this guy named 'BOB HAYES' and then make your comparison with juiced Johnson again. you will see that track conditions, spikes, wind drag from clothes.....all sorts of slight things make a huge difference. BOB was running 10's on a dirt track DECADES ago lol. i dont doubt he would have been a contender for bolt even today granted he had the same training and equipment and tracks available

@Igman2020 look at it like this I may be a mechanic behind a desk all day but was never interested in the sport YET i unknowingly have the genetic capability to run faster that bolt himself. but i have never taken the time to try to explore or develop this ability because I am much more interested in fixing cars. its like asafa pursuing track and bolt becoming a singer. you would have never known that bolt could beat asafa IF he was a Singer instead of an athlete.

@Igman2020 i'm not sure but i can only assume that it has a lot to do with genetics and the development of training techniques. i mean the slightest adjustments in weight training, diet and form can make a huge difference. I know it seems unbelievable but as fast as juiced Johnson was in his time just keep mind that there were people in his time who were faster and younger than he was but just have not been exposed to the sport. for example.

@Igman2020 For one Yohan blake has Usain Bolt as his training partner and the fact he has improved his start tremendously since hitting the scene two years ago. This is a kid who was always running fast at the high school level in Jamaica where he broke Raymond Stewart national junior record 10.11 seconds at 17 year old. Yohan decides to change coach and is now under Usain Bolt's guidance which produce the fastest time ran by a19 year old sprinter ever. Yohan was always a prodigy as a teen!

I have a feeling Yohan will match Bolt in a few years.
