Ven Kekanadure Dhammasiri has served Buddhist communities in Malaysia and Singapore for about 10 years before heading to the US to serve the Vietnamese Buddhist community where he has been since, as a trained Buddhist chaplain. He is involved in various community care projects such as counseling, hospice care, youth development, spiritual care, etc. Passionate about trained Buddhists social volunteers standing up to reach out to those in need of aid, the Venerable believes in training and empowerment as key elements in sustainable Buddhist socio-welfare work.
