Sunrise at Annapurna Base Camp (4,200 meters), Nepal

After snowing the night before , I take a 360 degree look around Annapurna Base Camp on the fifth day of our trek in Nepal.

I trekked up there in 2001 and I have to say that's it's the most beautiful, incredible place I have ever been. Even witnessed an avalanche on Annapurna 2 whilst walking up from M.B.C

what can i say thats some hardcore treking ,. and uhj u couldnt pay me any amount of cash to climb any of these scary mountains.... .. theres a reason that nothing lives up there not even a an ox or whatever u call those little beasts they use to carry loads.... this is like an action sport for me... i often feel bad for these people that die... but i just cant help but watch.. and these people are truely captured in natures adrenaline

I was there in March of 08 as well, but more mid-March.... very cold indeed! But one of the most memorable times of my life... we did a 10 day trek in 8 days and saw some of the most memorable sights... then I came back to India and lost my camera. Now I have to go back and make the trek again!
