  • I like how the video emphasizes responsible development versus no development. There has to be a balance just as with urban development and ranching. The whole system has to be looked at instead of singling out the natural gas developers. I think the BLM has an open process for this and the developers have to abide by the rules and be good neighbors or lose their license to operate. Reclaiming drill sites and minimizing development footprint is key.

  • What does ranching do to migration and have they not changed the eco of the land? Many ranchers are actually generating income by leasing their land to oil companies. Does the oil-field target predators such as ranchers such as wolves which were reintroduced in 1995 because they were killed off by ranchers and are still being poached today?

  • Pictures tell the story. Beautiful land and soon to be exhausted from giving us it's natural resources. We are a society of users and we have used up all the God Given Gifts until we become a wasteland. There needs to be a balance, but I don't see any in these projects.

  • Excellent! Thank you. let's get busy to protect natural resources. More drilling does NOT increase the amount of oil or gas available...it only depletes the SAME pools FASTER. And couses major environmental harm.

Please also Google Coal-Bed Methane, and help the Cheyene Indians protect their streams and the land. Montana and Utah are also at great risk of unchecked oil & gas development.

  • Great video. Really and eye-opener. This video should be widely distributed!!!!

  • Nice work. The Upper Green River Valley looks like a beautiful place. I like how you used Google Earth to show the changes in the valley over time. It would seem these days we could figure out a way to get the energy resources we need without destroying such a valuable resource for people and wildlife.

  • Outstanding! I wish this was required viewing for every politician, land owner, high school and college student in the state.

  • Wow.. first comment. It's true, it reminds me while I was in GCSE, one of my favourite modules.. :)
