Demon in my soul

There's a demon in my stomach
I've got to try and kill
Tea and coffee don't work
maybe lager will
There's a demon inside my soul
to stop me from getting old
Gonna fight it if I can
I may fail but that's the plan

though I'm not always good
If I could help somebody out

Sometimes I see the faces
of people passing by
They seem to stare at me
though I can't look them in the eye

something deep inside me
