The only way to remove the Philippine corruption is force the government by widespread public protest to establish a powerful INDEPENDENT AGENCY that deals with corruption, with adequate budgets, with sound legal framework which gives its members the necessary powers to do the job effectively, agents have powers similar to the police to arrest anyone suspected without warrants, implement new anti-bribery laws and educate the public to be vigilant by reporting any corruption to this agency.

Marcos wasn't all that bad. It was ONLY during HIS time that the Philippine Economy actually prospered and was really recognized by other asian countries. It was the only time the philippines was making good money without really relying on the OFWs.

Maybe not ... but it was really the start of massive graft and corruption in government, militarization, human rights violations, and the rape of the Philippine constitution.

It was the start of moral decay because people saw bad examples from people in power.

It started the downward spiral of Philippine economy beside the advances of our Asian neighbors.

It was of the end of everything we wanted the Philippines to become.
