Annapolis+ is a 2003 bright copper metallic chestnut stallion standing just shy of 15.2 hands. Sired by the Polish stallion Monogramm, leading sire of International Champions in Halter and Performance, and himself a US National Reserve Champion Colt. Monogramm has sired over 45 US National Winners.in a variety of disciplines. Annapolis+ is out of SS Annita, who is by Spark, and out of an *Orzel daughter, who was out of the stakes-winning mare, *Abhazja.

Annapolis+ is a very trainable stallion with a good work ethic and a quiet disposition. He has been racking up show honors since his very first show at the September 2006 US Arabian Sport Horse Nationals, where he placed Top Ten in a large class of World Class quality stallions, many with maturity and lengthy show careers to their credit. Annapolis received scores of 8's on his gaits and the various components of his conformation, as well as his temperament.

In October 2006, after being under saddle for only 6-months, Annapolis+ placed in his first dressage schooling show with scores in the mid to high 60s for Training Level Test 1 and 2. Since that time, we have not looked back. He has competed in Dressage successfully up through the levels in both Arabian and Open Dressage Competitions, Sport Horse Under Saddle, Sport Horse In Hand, and he has even been seen leaving the "A" rated Arabian shows with top awards in Hunter Pleasure, Stallion Halter, and Native Costume.

Annapolis+ has traveled to Scottsdale and caught the eye of Major General Jonathan Burton, who gave him 9's on his gaits and conformation. He has returned to the 2008 US Sport Horse Nationals and come home with a sweep of Top Ten finishes in Sport Horse Stallions, Dressage Training Level, Dressage First Level and Sport Horse Under Saddle, Jr Horse. In 2007 he won 1 USEF Region 4 Arabian Horse of The Year Champion Awards, 2 Reserve Champion Awards, and 2 Fourth Place Awards, and in 2008, he won 3 USEF Region 4 Champion Arabian Horse of The Year Awards and 2 Reserve Champion Awards.

As a horse, Annapolis+ is easy to be around. He fits right in with any crowd. He has performed as part of a quadrille team with all three other horses being mares. He goes away to weekend horse camping outings in the mountains or at the beach, and is just one of the gang. He hauls routinely to and from shows and clinics in a trailer with other stallions, mares, even with mares and foals. No problem. He conveniently lives in a large stall on the main aisle way of one of our trainer's busiest barns and watches the comings and goings without becoming "involved." He is very well socialized.
