  • Good explanations here and incorporated the concept of relaxation right from the beginning. Using the metronome is a good way to keep the tempo beat and not make alterations/accomodations, allowing more facility within the structure of the beat. Very excellent teaching here. Many beginners have problems bowing parallel to the bridge. I've not heard the phrase, Chicken Wing, before: Anatomically this is natural tendency and the forearm must be trained; to open up the elbow to allow it Thanks!
