I'm with ThyssenKrupp on saving the Hydraulic Elevator. Using Biodegradable oil w/ Roped/Holeless Hydraulic is the way to go!
-
Very interesting, and now Otis has another hydraulic division called CemcoLift.
-
no, Esco was a hydraulic division of Otis, and then otis just got rid of the esco name but kept making elevators that were esco-style
-
Sounds like it was low on oil when it was leveling at 6.
-
if they went with ThyssenKrupp Synergy, it would probably be the M series
-
are they done modernizing yet?

Yes, if Kone made hydraulics again, just like Otis, Schindler, and ThyssenKrupp, they should have holeless and roped hydraulic, with biodegradeable fluid, and I'm cool with that.

That's correct.

Yes, that's because the low rise MRL elevators serve 6 floors, whereas the mid rise series serve 7-20 floors.

No, they are still working on the east elevators, and then they will work on the wast elevators. So I'm thinking they will be done around early or so of 2010.
