  • i still prefer subpach modelling even that i cannot make more than 4 point polys - its more clean and dont give u undesired results! as for cutmul clark i dont even try the modelling tools on it

  • Sub Division is at first a pain and requires outside -the box thinking.

    But the rewards are many ,and I find most things I model have rounded edges which require a lot of polygons to do traditionally.

    Now with Catmull clark I can punch in details

    WITH rounded edges saving huge amounts

    of modeling time!

    I am concerned about translatabity with 3dMax

    as max likes triangles.
