Went to Big Bear two different Tuesdays this year as they had dry pow, a rarity around here. When a road or two are closed and there's only one way in, a foot or two of local snow won't get tracked out for 2 or 3 hours. Open question to ski patrol: Can the steepest run ever really be considered off limits, especially when it it's untouched and not even remotely a slide possibility?
Here are some Wall and Timberline shots from the second trip, encased by semi-jacknifing and general road closure with a snow level that got down to 2000 feet:)
