Obscure DOS Game: Germicide (1994)

Germicide is a definite oddity, it is a computer game I recall being distributed by Scholastic book orders probably for its educational value. In the game, you control either the antibodies or the invading parasites and microbes. You guide a human of your choice through his or her daily routine and the decisions you make will determine is there are additional forces for the antibodies or the invaders. The game ends when either side is completely wiped out or when the human dies. The human's body is a battleground with several different points you can try to control, much like a board game, turn based strategy game or war game. Oh, and the game doesn't seem to have too much in the way of sound except for the starting intro and when two opposing sides are in combat. This is a definite edutainment title and the company that made it still seems to exist.
