I have seen software used to control Daktronic signs in my area and it far exceeds the capabilities of EyeTV. Unfortunately, I bought cheap and am now paying the price.
One small example - Time & Temp displays cant be posted with a graphical background or embedded on top of animation. All EyeTV will let you configure is what color you want the text and how large your want the font. Standard colors are limited to 42 or so unter the "TEXT" tab. I.E. Basic.

@Thorno198 Your complaint is too generic. What, exactly, were you trying to do that you were unable to do? EyeTV allows you to use every font on your PC, every color the sign will display, allows for importing images, etc. It also has a ton of built-in effects and transitions.
I'm confused as to what you were expecting the software to do that it failed to do.

The program isn't good for any signs. It is incredibly weak and does not allow the user ANY creativity. If you're after generic "Hello World" type messages then this might work for you. Anything beyond that will leave you frustrated.
