  • I would like to see Berlin record the whole Nielsen cycle for CD and DVD or at least the DCH. Berlin did all the Sibelius, now it is time to do all 6 of the Nielsen symphonies.

  • @BerlinPhil it would be nice if Baborak came back to the orchestra, just as Pahud did or Zoeller.

  • @murillomb1 That is Andre Schoch, former student of Matthias Höfs, nowadays member of the Berlin.Phil. Orchester-Akademie. 2009-2011 he was principal trumpet (substitute) of the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig.

  • @tannerjordan2010 hmmm... :s

  • @juliosax93 look again.

  • @marcojca I just did. It was the same version I have, and in the part (either part) there is no change.

  • @tannerjordan2010 check the clarinet parts only at IMSLP, not the full score. I think there is some changes to Bb to A.

  • @marcojca I was looking at the 2nd clarinet part in the score and there is no indicated change there. The key doesn't change, and he would only be dealing with 1 flat on his B flat. Maybe he started the excerpt on the A, because that particular passage was easier on the fingers, because there are a lot of crazy accidentals. Then switched back to the clarinet he should have been playing on in the first place! lol

  • @0:54 the horn player second from the left has a microphone in front of him and it makes him look translucent. :)

  • Who is the 3rd trumpet ?
