Nancy Chiaravalloti, PhD, Director of Kessler Foundation Research Centers Neuropsychology & Neuroscience Laboratory, discusses the application of a non-invasive technology to assess brain function in soldiers on the battlefield. As explained in the video, near infrared light spectroscopy could enable brain injuries to be detected in soldiers before they put themselves and fellow soldiers at further risk.
