A live platform becomes available for Chicagoans to call in and ask an expert or industry thought leader about the fastest growing developmental disability affecting the nation—autism spectrum disorder. Little City Executive Director Shawn E. Jeffers takes many calls from concerned members of the community and shares his thoughts about the importance of collaboration with other non-profit organizations and service provider agencies, the hope to aid in generating autism awareness, and a desire to open up the dialogue. Mr. Jeffers also explains to Little City TV Host Lisa Reyes what Little City Foundation is, its history, the services they provide to children and adults with autism, and why they moved forward with such an initiative.
