"Oh pleas! He's being accused of adultery, his wife is right there, of course he's going to be nervous! What do you expect?"
What I expected was him to say:
"It's all lies!"
"Rubbish!"
"Nonsense!"
"I'm gonna prosecute NYT!"
"Vicki Iseman was just a friend!"
etc.
Instead, he seems worried.
He's seems to be asking for people to look at his record/service... and people should forgive him having a affair... if it get's proven.
