Hoggin on the Sherline Lathe

Taking a very deep cut into some aluminum trying to cut down a shaft to .25 diameter. Cut is probably .3" deep. Just trying to get clearance to cut a ball on the end. A little comment directed towards one of my machining mentors Luiz Ally as he truly inspires 1 to keep trying to push these little machines. Amazing cut.

Thanks Spunk! Actually it was mostly due to no more room on the work bench. It does have its advantages in that no swarf is falling on the moving parts.
