Taking a very deep cut into some aluminum trying to cut down a shaft to .25 diameter. Cut is probably .3" deep. Just trying to get clearance to cut a ball on the end. A little comment directed towards one of my machining mentors Luiz Ally as he truly inspires 1 to keep trying to push these little machines. Amazing cut.

  • Thanks Spunk! Actually it was mostly due to no more room on the work bench. It does have its advantages in that no swarf is falling on the moving parts.
