QUICK & THE DEAD - old TV docco!

Here's some vintage Perth punk for ya! Some archival TV footage dug up from somewhere, who knows where. This band is quite notorious, starting as a cool punk band & evolving (or is that de-evolving?) into nazi skinheads. But dunderhead politics aside, this band does stand out amidst the rich & colourful Perth Punk landscape...

I'm just about to post the other one, with Mike Willessee. I don't think it's a problem in any way. Your dad's band was pretty cool. A pity that other bands at the time weren't immortalized on video, such as The Hitler Youth... ha ha...

GIven they referenced an article in the Weekend News dated early 1981 I'd suggest it was indeed 1981. I was at Hollywood High then and the antics of the Quick and the Dead were very well documented then. I remember the Shenton Park skins as having a fearsome reputation. That said, as I watch this I can't stop thinking that all these nasty punks look more like a mob of puppies, hardly intimidating at all!
