Eric Satie had the habit of adding surreal annotations to his scores so have carried this over in the video. The first in a series of recordings of Satie's piano music.

  • Thanks for presenting this piece, Paul.

  • I love like my sister this piece and your playing !!!!bravo Paul

  • I love SATIE and this piece is excellent !!! you are professionnal I suppose ???

  • Nicely done, Paul, with just the right amount of Satie-esque melancholy. Would like more, of course.

  • HAHAHA your crazy Paul. (The good kind of crazy).

  • Some titles are quite eccentric too:

Flabby Prelude for a dog !

Three little pieces ( understand "rooms" ) and a kitchen.....

    Dried embrios

Piece in the shape of a pear !

Curiously, the music is generally not as funny as the titles......

  • The sky is your limit. You just play and play your like the energizer bunny(in a good way). Lol

  • Dear Paul, I saw this wonderful piece on Terry's channel (thanks to her again! ;)) ). Great job! And I like the video very much.... 5* and best wishes,

    Lilly

  • Very cute little piece, and I enjoyed not only the lovely playing but also the cute video with Satie's annotations too! (*^^*)
