I am trying to update my Tom Tom one, 3rd edition with new maps but not at the frankly laughable price that Tom Tom are asking....
Why would I want to spend £60 on 4 updates over the next 12 months ?
I am looking for a SINGLE (one off) update - any suggestions ?

There is any way to install IGO 08 on this TOMTOM? I know igo 08 need windows mobile! So Can I install windows mobile on tomtom one?

Is that hole really for a dash mount??? I thought it was for the cord that controls your traffic feature.

.my friend erased his tomtom software without makeing a backup ,thinking that he could install a better one . he installed the new version, but it doesn't show anything , like its empty or something , now he doesn't know what software was and how to install it ...can u help ....

If he has the CD that came with the unit, he should be able to re-install. Mine got wet when mounted to my motorcycle and no longer functions. I replaced it with a 930XL

I've had the One since Christmas, I'm curious, how do you update the maps, and I thought updating was free? Also what's the code that comes with it about?

Install the CD that came with the one, then plug the USB adapter up and its an option from the software.
