Kosher Nostra--probably one of the greatest and most fruitful ensembles of modern time.
I especially like how their clothing choice reminds me of the Wiggles.

Heard her play the Walton Concerto with her husband conducting at the Casals Festival in Puerto Rico. Most of the musicians there felt she was over the top emotionally, but if you're not over the top in your early 20's, when will you be?
A wonderful memory for me--especially to watch the rehearsals.

You know, it's interesting--I don't think I've ever heard du Pré speak before.
What a great musician...and so young too.

Wow, in this video, it says that she was 24 and at the peak of her performance. I was listening in the other videos of her that Multiple Sclerosis ended her career at 28. What a shame and it was an awfully short career in her blooming adulthood.

It's great to see how they feel music and have fun at ther same time. I'm a cellist so I can tell you lovetheviolin that a I miss a lot jacqueline du pre too. She was unique as Slava.
