Autumn Delights, leaf peeping in rural Maine.

Here's a taste of rural Maine in Autumn. Every year thousands of people drive through Maine just to look at our leaves. We call it "Leaf Peeping". Most of these pictures were taken along the Pleasant River in Brownville Junction. My back yard. :)

Just about all these leaves have fallen now. It's starting to look bare out there! I actually think those might be some variety of cherry, but I'm not sure. They aren't in my gardens, but are on my regular walk. :)

Wonderful, Kate! You are definitely further along than we are way down here in southern Maine. Pretty soon we get to rake all those leaves.....

I'll have all of my leaves and my neighbors. LOL Somehow, the shape of the land here collects them right in front of the workshop door.
