  • 1 metre diameter is perfect, i've only done about 500mill on this one, i'll go out further as it gets a bit bigger, a thin weedmat that allows the water through and then more mulch, about 50mill thick.

  • Thank you!! It's funny because one of my FAVORITE flavors is lemon and I'm going to be buying dwarf lemon tree....so it made me smile when I saw that you did a lemon scented tea tree. I'll be sending you a video of my new tree soon. :)

    Just a question, do you dig up or cover the grass around the tree? I was taught and shown evidence that grass is actually a young tree's biggest competition, and that it was best practice to cover the area all around a new tree by atleast 1 metre of mulch, something like layers of newspapers covered with woodchip or something heavy to keep the paper down. Otherwise the tree would be (much) slower to grow and reduced in size.
